The U.S. Postal Workers Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive will be held Saturday around the country, including in New Milford.

Letter carriers will pick up packages and deliver them to the Richmond Citizen Center to support the New Milford Social Services Food Bank and the Loaves and Fishes hospitality soup kitchen.

Items most needed are peanut butter, tuna, pasta sauce, canned soups, vegetables and fruits, cereal and juice.

Donations may not be expired, damaged or open.

Donations that cannot be placed by a mailbox may be dropped off at Social Services in the RCC building at 40 Main St. weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
