St. John's Episcopal Church in Washington will hold its 24th annual holiday bazaar Dec. 6-8.

The bazaar will kick off with a gala preview party and live auction Dec. 6 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.

The event will feature a cocktail buffet, an open bar and music by Nancy Winston.

Patrons may shop at "Street of Shops," which will include the sale of gifts, clothing, jewelry and accessories; preserves, baked goods and epicurean delights from the St. John's Larder; instant decor ideas with designers Diana Beattie, Nina Campbell, Karen Davis, Philip Gorrivan, Ron Leal, Rod Pleasants and Chris Zaima; a mystery gift tree; a silent auction; and a live auction at 8 p.m.

The holiday market part of the bazaar will be open Dec. 7 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with free admission.

It will feature the "Street of Shops," the sale of lunch items and a silent auction, which will end at 2 p.m.

New this year is a "Fireside Holiday Fete," a special event feature holiday cocktails, music by David Grausman and guest speaker Nina Campbell, who will share decorating tips from her new book "Interiors" Dec. 7 from 4:30 to 7 p.m.

Campbell and fellow designer Carolyne Roehm will be the guest speakers.

The holiday market will also be open Dec. 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., with free admission. Admission is $75 per person for the gala party Dec. 6 and $75 per person for the "Fireside Holiday Fete," or $125 per person for both events.
