Spectrum shares its letters policy
The Spectrum welcomes Letters to the Editor, but letters concerning the Nov. 6 election will not be published in the Nov. 2 edition because that would not allow the opportunity for a response prior to Election Day.
Other letters should not exceed 300 words. Occasionally, The Spectrum publishes issue-oriented pieces not to exceed 600 words.
The Spectrum reserves the right to edit submissions for brevity, clarity, appropriateness and libel and to determine the frequency with which a writer's submissions are published.
All submissions must be signed and include the writer's town of residence (for publication) as well as home address and phone number (not for publication).
The deadline is Tuesday at noon, although The Spectrum would consider publication of letters submitted by Wednesday at 9 a.m. related to events occurring after the Tuesday deadline.
Inquiries regarding Letters to the Editor pieces should be made to Spectrum editor Norm Cummings at 860-355-7323 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Send your submissions to email@example.com or The Greater New Milford Spectrum, attention Norm Cummings, 45B Main St., New Milford, CT 06776.
