‘Sounds of Nature’ set in Sherman
Sherman Library and Naromi Land Trust Present in Sherman will present a “Sounds of Nature” program Nov. 16 at 1:30 p.m. at the library in Sherman Center.
Children ages kindergarten through sixth grade are invited to learn more about the sounds of nature and how to recognize them.
This is a half-day of school for the Sherman School; homeschool students and students from other schools who also have a half day are welcome.
Carrie Szwed, education director from White Memorial Conservation Center, will lead the interactive program.
White Memorial’s resident Barred owl, Shakespeare, will make a guest appearance.
Space is limited.
Children walking to the program from the Sherman School must have a signed permission form, pack a lunch and meet in the Sherman School cafeteria before walking to the library.
Parents are also welcome to bring their child directly to the program.
