'Smart but Scattered?' set at library

Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will present a program, “Smart but Scattered? Helping Your Child Reach Their Full Educational Potential,” Aug. 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Helen H. Waldron, M.Ed., educational therapist, principal for Waldron Education, LLC and director of admissions at Oxford Academy, will lead the program at the Wykeham Road library.

Participants will learn about strategies for various executive function challenges, will be introduced to easy-to-follow steps to identify the child’s strengths and weaknesses, explore activities and techniques proven to boost specific skills and problem solve daily routines.
