Sloane museum seeks art for exhibit

The Eric Sloane Museum in Kent is seeking professional and nonprofessional artists of all ages to create apple art for this year’s art show.

Apple blossoms, apples, apple trees or apple wood are welcome.

Interested artists are invited to submit up to three pieces of art for the community art show that will run July 8-17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Artwork will be on exhibit at the 31 Kent-Cornwall Road museum through July 31.

The show will be judged by the public with gift certificates given in the following categories: professional artist, nonprofessional artist and under 18.
