The Silo in the Northville section of New Milford will present "Voices of Poetry/Malice Toward None" Sept. 27 at 3 p.m.
The program will feature traditional and original poetry and music to honor the approaching 150th anniversary of the end of the Civil War.
An artists meet-and-greet session will follow the program at the 44 Upland Road center.
The event will take place in the Silo Gallery where an exhibit, "Lincoln's Time's," features works by artists Wendy Allen and Wendell Minor.
Also on exhibit are rarely seen Civil War-era quilts from the private collection of Sue Reich, militaria from private collections, and items of historical interest on loan from the New Milford Historical Society.
Admission is $10 and reservations are encouraged by calling 860-355-0300.
