SHERMAN — Joe Moravsky, 26, lost his bid Monday to be the American Ninja Warrior champion.

The Sherman resident and Shepaug Valley School graduate fell while making his way through the Stage 3 obstacle course in Los Vegas. The show aired Monday night on NBC-TV.

After seven seasons, American Ninja Warrior does have a winner, however. Rock climber Isaac Coldiero finished the fourth and final stage, climbing the 8-stories tall Mt. Midoriyana in a rope climb in 30 seconds. Coldiero won $1 million and the title.

It was Moravsky’s third attempt to take the title. He appeared on the show in 2013 and 2014 also, reaching the third stage twice. A pep rally was held for Moravsky Monday afternoon at Shepaug Valley School in Washington, CT.; 203-731-3352
