Sherman: Virtual talk on Women's Center March 18

SHERMAN — Sherman Library will offer a remote program about the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury on Wednesday, March 18, at 7 p.m.

In this free program, Matt Austin, the director of education, training and outreach at the Women’s Center of Greater Danbury, will discuss the free resources the organization provides to victims and survivors of domestic and sexual violence (regardless of gender) in this area.

Since its founding in 1975, the Women’s Center has been a safe haven as the sole provider of services to victims of domestic and sexual violence in the northern Fairfield County and southern Litchfield County.
