Sherman School has several announcements related to the 2014-15 school year.

School will reopen Wednesday, Aug. 27, with the homeroom bell at 8:20 a.m.

Grades two through eight will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m.

High school students who arrive at Sherman School after 2:30 p.m. will be provided a room where they can work until dismissal at 3:10.

Kindergarten students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. Aug. 27 through Sept. 13. Beginning Sept. 15, they will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m.

First-grade students will be dismissed Aug. 27 to 29 at 1 p.m. Beginning Sept. 2, they will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m.

Hot lunch will be available for $2.90 on the first day of school.

Bus routes will be printed in the local newspaper and be available at www.shermanschool.com.

Classroom visitations for students and their parents will take place Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.

Kindergarten students and their parents should report to the school buses at the front of the school.

Open school night for students in kindergarten through grade five will be Sept. 9 at 6 p.m., while open school night for students in grades six to eight will be Sept. 10 at 6 p.m.
