The Sherman Park & Recreation Department offers programs throughout the year.
Summer office hours at Sherman School are Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Beach passes are distributed outside the Sherman School cafeteria weekdays from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Free summer concerts will start soon. Perfect Timing will perform July 19 at 2 p.m. and Goodtime Charlie’s will be at the pavilion July 25 at 4 p.m. Residents are welcome to bring picnic lunch and some friends.
Registration for all summer youth programs is still offered Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Danielle Christie directs youths aged 4-7 meeting Mondays to Fridays from 9 to 11:45 a.m. through July 31 at Sherman School.
Rich Sheridan directs youths aged 7-12, meeting Mondays to Fridays from 9 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. through Juy 31 at Sherman Town Park. Early dropoff and extended hours are available for an extra fee.
The New Milford High School baseball coaching staff will direct an Aug. 3-7 camp meeting from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans Field. Boys and girls aged 8-15 are eligible at the cost of $100.
Rich Sheridan, longtime New Milford High School coach, assisted by current Green Wave players, will direct boys and girls aged 8-15 Aug. 10-14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Veterans Field. Cost will be $100.
Half-hour lessons are offered through July 31, based on Red Cross guidelines for Levels 1 to 6.
