Creative birdhouses, slates and saws, jewelry and goat soap were just a few of the wide assortment of sundry items for sale July 18 as the Sherman Church welcome area residents for its 114th country fair.

The event also featured horseback rides for children, colonial-area games and resident Joel Judd's traditional 25-cent hayride, as well as heirlooms and family quilts and musical performances in the church sanctuary.
