The Sherman Chamber Ensemble will conclude with “Mostly Italian” Sept. 1-2.

The ensemble, which is celebrating its 35th year, has been under the artistic direction of Eliot Bailen since 1982.

Concerts will be held Sept. 1 at 8 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church at the intersection of routes 7 and 341 in Kent and Sept. 2 at Sherman Playhouse, Route 39, in Sherman.

Performances will be followed by a reception with the musicians.

The September concerts will feature saxophonist Eddie Barbash, a founding member of Jon Batiste and Stay Human, house band for “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.”

Tickets are $30 for general admission, $25 for students and seniors, and free for children 15 and under who are accompanied by an adult purchasing a ticket.
