Shawn Marie Morse, 42, of Lilburn, Ga., formerly of Danbury, died Sept. 30, 2012, after a three and half-year fight against breast cancer. She was the wife of 14 years to Richard Morse.

Mrs. Morse was born Aug. 6, 1970, in New Britain to Roger John Krystopa of Danbury and the late Shirley Lois Grzesczyk Krystopa.

She was a graduate of Canterbury School in New Milford and received a bachelor's degree from Western Connecticut State University in Danbury,

Mrs. Morse loved to decorate for the holidays, baked cakes for her boys, cross-stitched, enjoyed gardening and being with her family, attending her son's baseball games, volunteering and attending Bible study classes.

She was known as a creative person.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by three sons, Nicholas, Kyle and Matthew, of Lilburn; her father Roger and her stepmother Denise, of Danbury; a sister, Suzanne K. Poplin and John A. of Lilburn; a brother, Roger J. Krystopa Jr. and Rebecca of Lawrenceville, Ga.; a stepsister, Jennifer Conciatore and of Ridgefield; a stepbrother, Matthew Chila and Tara of Danbury; her father and mother-in-law, Thomas R. and JoAnne Morse of Grayson, Ga.; a sister-in-law, Susan Morse-Miller and Keith of Newtown; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives; and a host of many friends.
