Senior center events to run during January

The Washington Senior Center will host a variety of programs during coming weeks.

Events include a reading of "The Farrand Family of Washington, Connecticut" from the Gunn Memorial Museum archives March 7 at 10 a.m.; a corned beef luncheon March 10 at noon; a van to the mall March 14 at 9 a.m.; tai chi classes March 15 through April 19 on Tuesdays at 10 a.m.; a blood pressure clinic March 16 at 11:30; computer instruction March 23 at 1 p.m.; a hearing screening March 24 at 10:30 a.m.; lunch club March 25 at noon, and computer instruction March 30 at 1 p.m.

The regular schedule includes bridge Tuesdays at 1:30 p.m.; zumba gold Thursdays at 9:15 a.m.; needles and things Thursdays at 2 p.m.; and exercise Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 9 a.m.
