Sherman Library will play host to the Sherman Commission on the Aging Senior Art Show Aug. 25 through Oct. 13.

A reception will be held Aug. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Works in paint, photography, woodcraft, pottery and sculpture by local artists will be showcased.

“The idea is to showcase the talents of Sherman’s seniors,” said Janet Wey, chairperson of the Senior Commission on Aging.

“In pursuing this, I have found not only amazing talent among our seniors but also how modest they are about their talents,” she said.

The library is located in Sherman Center.
