The New Milford High School art department will open its 24th annual senior art show May 25 at the railroad station on Railroad Street.

Hours are May 25 from 2:30 to 7 p.m.,

May 26 from 2 to 7 p.m. and May 27 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Artwork of graduating senior artists has been juried and selected for the show by the art department staff.

Featured artists with large bodies of work include Calia Borden, Hanna Ferguson, Koren Harpaz, Samantha Kelly, Annie Mao, Briana Morrissey, Victoria Ogden, Bridgit O'Hara, Morgen Purcell and Rebecca Shaw.

Also included in the show is artwork by Laurel Byrnes, Sarah Chauvin, Sean Cypher, Christina Gargon, Corey Jerolman, Daniel Lilley, Brittany Noeding, Jackson Pryor-Bennett, Sean Quigg and Avery Savage.

The artists are also responsible FOR organizing and conducting the show.

Calia will be in charge of name tags and other signage; Morgen will handle artists' display photographs; and Samantha will organize the official video, which will be shot by Anthony Crespan and Kristan Zumpano, members of the video production class, and emceed by Sean Cypher.

Becky Shaw, Victoria Ogden and Hannah Ferguson will be in charge of refreshments and collecting refreshment donations.

Music for the opening will be coordinated by Koren Harpaz and will feature Sam Coutts, a 2011 senior art show alumnus, Tom Bowen, Jackie Hopkins and Jackson Pryor-Bennett.
