It's about yesterday's technology today.

At a time when technology seems to change with at the speed of light, there are still plenty of "artifacts" fighting to avoid the landfill.

Some items aren't on the cutting-edge anymore -- CDs and tube TVs, for example -- but you'll still find them in plenty of homes in the Greater Danbury area.

At the other end of the spectrum, when was the last time you used a typewriter or listened to a jukebox?

Do you still have one of those yellow plastic inserts to play a 45 rpm record? Do you regularly use an encyclopedia or phone book?

To see if you're a technology connoisseur or a technology fossil, be sure to check out "Yesterday's technology today" on Sunday, Feb. 26, exclusively in the print edition of The News-Times.
