Connecticut Reading Conference $2,000 Scholarship: Deadline: April 30. Applications available in NMHS guidance office.
Roger Sherman Chapter, Daughters of the American Revolution Scholarship: Deadline: May 1. Applications available at NMHS guidance office.
Alan S. Farnham Memorial Scholarship: Deadline: May 5. Applicant must be a graduating high school senior who lives in the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department district. Scholarship based on academic standing, community service, two letters of recommendation from non-relatives and a handwritten essay describing yourself, your interests and your educational and career goals. Applications must be postmarked by May 5 and mailed to the Gaylordsville Historical Society, Attention Scholarship Committee, P.O. Box 25, Gaylordsville, CT 06755. Applications available in high school guidance offices.
Ann Magoun Scholarship Award: Deadline: May 5. Open to graduates of Sherman School who plan to further their education. Applications available in Sherman School office.
Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department: Deadline: May 9. Open to any graduating high school senior living in the Gaylordsville Volunteer Fire Department district. Applications available at high school guidance offices.
