A free educational program for adults, "Caught in The Sandwich Generation? Three Generations Bound by Caring," will be held Thursday from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Southbury.

The Aging in Place Resource Center of Southbury organized the program to be held at The Watermark at East Hill, 611 East Hill.

The program is geared toward family caregivers and their parents as part of national Sandwich Generation Month.

"This event will bring the community and families together to heighten awareness of the special needs of the Sandwich Generation, adults caring for their own children plus their own aging parents," said Todd Schuck, certified Aging In Place specialist and co-founder of The Aging In Place Resource Center of Southbury.

Speakers will include Julia M. Brown, Jane Brubaker, Barbara Stevens and Mr. Schuck.
