Kiera Bisenius, a junior at Keene State College in New Hampshire, was recently recognized as the recipient of the William and Barbara Brackett '57 Excellence in Teacher Education Scholarship during a reception with college President Anne Huot and the Bracketts, retired Connecticut educators.

Bisenius is majoring in secondary education, social science and history, and is a member of the Keene State women's rugby team.

She is the daughter of Joe and Anne Bisenius, of South Kent, and a 2012 graduate of Housatonic Valley Regional High School in Falls Village.


Melissa Hanrahan, daughter of JoAnn and Mark Hanrahan, has been named to the dean's list at Delaware Valley College in Pennsylvania, where she is majoring in English literature and equine studies.

Allison Roberti has been named to the dean's list at Azusa Pacific University in California. She was honored for a 2014 spring semester academic standing of a 3.5 or better grade-point average.

Emily M. Christin recently graduated from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in archaeology.
