St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Kent will offer a “Music in the Nave” concert, “Old World~New World,” with the acclaimed Rosewood Chamber Ensemble Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.

The concert will be held at the 1 North Main St. church.

Now in its ninth season, the Rosewood Chamber Ensemble, featuring award-winning flutist Barbara Hopkins and guitarist Judy Handler are known for their skillful and interesting programs based on the music and people of the early United States.

The concert will contrast 19th century music from both sides of the Atlantic: Paganini and Schubert pieces versus popular American music and dances from the gold mining towns of the American West and our country's first "classical" composers.

Tickets are $15 at the door and $13 in advance at http://MITNKentCT.eventbrite.com.

Children 18 and under, or with at student ID, will be admitted for free.
