Robotics & Beyond, a not-for-profit engineering and technology education organization in New Milford, will offer funds for scholarships and host co-ed summer camps.

Funds were recently received from Goodrich ISR Systems and ATMI, Inc. in Danbury and from PTC Corp. of Needham, Mass., to support scholarships for students in technology summer camps and equipment for the camps and year-round outreach programs.

In addition, Goodrich ISR will bring real-world engineering examples and career information to students in the camp through visits by technical staff and PTC Corp. will provide a hands-on tutorial of its software tools widely used in engineering fields during the camps.

The camps will be held July 11-18 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at New Milford High School on Route 7 South.

The camps are full, but visitors are welcome to stop by for observations.
