Robert Clowes Sr., 91, was World War II veteran
Mr. Clowes was the son of the late Charles W. and Florence G. Clowes.
He graduated from Princeton High School and attended Rider College.
A veteran of World War II, Mr. Clowes served with the Anti-Submarine Command at Battista Air Base in Cuba and later with the 73rd Bomb Wing on Saipan, Mariana Islands.
Mr. Clowes was retired from the NCR Corporation.
He had been active in the community affairs his entire life.
Mr. Clowes enjoyed golf and antique restoration.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Clowes is survived by a son, Robert W. Clowes II, and a daughter-in-law, Linda McGwire, of Ashland, Ore.; and a daughter, Joan, and son-in-law, Jon Clow, of New Milford; four granddaughters; and six great grandchildren.
A memorial service will take place in Trenton, N.J., in June.
