A ceremony with family and friends was held March 31.
Senator Richard Blumenthal also attended and presented Connor with a Senate Award of Special Recognition.
Connor’s Eagle service project was performed at The Institute for American Indian Studies Museum and Research Center in Washington.
Connor is a 2018 honors graduate of Shepaug High School.
He attends Sarah Lawrence College, Bronxville, N.Y., where he is pursuing a degree in liberal arts.
In addition to his studies, Connor volunteers each week for an after-school program in Yonkers, N.Y.
He also spends time playing drums as part of a contemporary church ensemble that performs at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brookfield.
