Richard Peck, 87, had family in New Milford
He was born Jan. 23, 1921, in Bridgeport, the son of the late Wesley and Louise (Dubrit) Peck.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II.
Mr. Peck was a carpenter and builder and was employed by the Carpenters Union 210 in Hamden.
He resided in the Gloversville, N.Y. area the past 20 years.
He is survived by his wife, Edith (Eckert) Peck of Gloversville, N.Y.; four children, Dawn Watkins and her husband Jack of New Milford, John Peck of Rocky Hill, William Peck and his wife Nettie of Bradley Beach, N.J. and
He was predeceased by his first wife, Eunice (Whittle) Peck; and a brother, Wesley Peck.
Private services will take place at the convenience of the family.
The Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home of Gloversville, N.Y. was in charge of arrangements.
