Kent Historical Society will hold a quilt discovery day with quilt expert Sue Reich April 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Reich will evaluate quilts at the town hall on Kent Green Boulevard; registrants will be given a verbal assessment and a photograph of the quilt.

The cost is $15 for each quilt evaluation.

Those interested in viewing can sit in the audience and watch the quilts reviewed for an all-day ticket of $5.

KHS members at the $100 patron level and above may have one free evaluation and one free all-day guest pass.

A special presentation, "Tips for Care and Use," will focus on the preservation, storage, care and suggested ways to display or hang a quilt at 1:30 p.m.
