New Milford Public Library will kick off a new, free film series, "Reel Justice: Great Courtroom Dramas," Sept. 24.

The series will feature 10 of the best courtroom dramas from the 1950s through the 1980s.

The first film to be screened will be "The Caine Mutiny," the 1954 film based on Herman Wouk's novel.

Each program will include popcorn and drinks, as well as an introduction, written film notes and a post-screening discussion led by series curator and library director Mark Hasskarl.
