The Sherman Library will open an exhibit of photographs by Linda T. Hubbard with a reception Sept. 17 from 4 to 6 p.m.

The show, “Waters of the World,” will run through Nov. 4.

Hubbard, who is a new resident of Sherman, has been photographing the environment around her ever since she was a Brownie in Meriden.

She recently lived in the Hudson Valley, where after retiring from IBM, she was a photographer, gallery owner and arts advocator.
