The Kent Art Association is presenting an exhibit, “Natural Touch,” featuring works by Karen Chase, of Kent.

A reception, which will be held Nov. 7 from 2 to 4 p.m., will feature music by blues guitarist Hugh Hill and poetry by Chase.

Attendees interested in playing or reading are invited to join the festivities.

The show may be seen Nov. 7 to 8 and Nov. 12 to 15 from 1 to 5 p.m. each day at the 21 South Main St. gallery.

Chase is a retired photojournalist whose articles and photographs have appeared in the Kent Good Times Dispatch, The Litchfield County Times, The LCT and Passport Magazines and the online at KentTribune.com.

Her photographs have also appeared in the Waterbury Republican and The Greater New Milford Spectrum.

Chase’s work has been included in two major photography exhibits: in 2014 at Times Square in New York City and last July her photograph of a white jonquil was included in the Exposure Award exhibit at the Louvre Museum in Paris.
