The contract gives the
Joel Barlow High School
teachers a 2.96 percent general wage increase in each of the three years and includes a new Incentive Pay Section that provides incentives for teachers to expand their knowledge and expertise.
In addition, the contract calls for an increase in the medical-insurance premium share and co-pay in 2006-07. For the next two contract years, negotiations of medical insurance terms will occur.
