Puppet show on tap at Gunn library
Gunn Memorial Junior Library in Washington will present a program with the Pumpernickel Puppets Dec. 28 at 5 p.m.
The puppet company will present “Sir George and the Dragon” with a cast of colorful puppet characters, audience participation, live voices and sound effects, as well as a fast-paced script.
Master puppeteer John McDonough and his group have entertained audiences for nearly 40 years with their adaptations of classic folk and fairy tales from small stages to the Smithsonian.
Each production features unique designs, voices and sound effects, and post-show behind the scenes insight.
The library is located on Wykeham Road.
