The second annual Pumpkins in the Park will be held Oct. 22 from 5 to 9:30 p.m. at Harrybrooke Park in New Milford.

A rain date of Oct. 23 is set for the event to be held at the park off Lanesville Road.

Activities will include a jack-o-lantern display, vendor booths and food.

Other offerings will include a costume parade at 6:15 p.m., acting and storytelling at 7:15 p.m., giant puppets and a sky lantern launch at 8:15 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person 5 and older. One free admission will be given for each carved pumpkin, with a three-inch votive candle, submitted for the pumpkin display. Children under 5 will be admitted for free.

Pumpkins may be dropped off Oct. 21 from 4 to 6 p.m. and Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit Friends of Harrybrooke Park.
