New Milford Social Services will offer a three-part discussion and education program, "Attaining and Maintaining Financial Fitness for Life" April 22, 29 and May 6 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (dinner included), and April 23, 30 and May 7 from noon to 2 p.m. (lunch included) at the Richmond Citizen Center at 40 Main St.

The series will help participants set and gain insight toward achieving financial goals.

The basics of budgeting, debt and credit repair, and saving will be covered, as well as the attitudes and behaviors that may foil best-laid financial plans.

Couples are encouraged to attend together.

Child care will be offered.
