The Institute for American Indian Studies in Washington will offer a variety of programs in the coming weeks.

Offerings will include a winter film festival, featuring a screening of "Choctaw Code Talkers," Jan. 14-15 at 2 p.m. each day; "Unravel the Mystery," featuring a private showing of museum pieces, Jan. 20 from 5 to 7 p.m.; an artifact identification day Jan. 22 from 1 to 4 p.m.; a winter survival walk Jan. 28 from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; and "Medicine Wheels, Animal Totems and New Year's Manifestations" Jan. 29 from 1 to 3 p.m.
