Weantinoge Heritage Land Trust based in New Milford will present a screening of "Forever Wild" April 25 at 1 p.m.

The film, narrated by Robert Redford, will be shown at Bank Street Theater on Bank Street in New Milford.

The screening will be held in recognition of the 40th anniversary of Earth Day.

After the film, patrons are invited to Weantinoge's office, also on Bank Street, for an informal discussion of the organization's public nature preserves.

Weantinoge ecologist and land manager Harry White will talk about Weantinoge's Forever Wild Preservation program, which preserves environmentally sensitive land, keeps water and air clean, protects wildlife and helps ensure that children will have the opportunity to experience the natural wonders of the northwest corner of Connecticut.

The film and discussion are suitable for adults and children aged 12 and older.

Patrons will receive a tree seedling.

A donation of $5 is suggested.
