Kent Memorial Library will offer a variety of programs in the coming days and weeks.

Children’s offerings will include TAB meeting for students in grades 5 and up Jan. 27 at 12:30 p.m.; Rhythm and Rhyme for children ages birth to 3 Jan. 30 and Feb. 6, 13, 20 and 27 at 10:45 a.m.; Lunch Bunch for all ages Feb. 1, 8, 15 and 22 at 12:30 p.m.; TAB book club Jan. 17 at noon (registration required); and Take Your Child to the Library Day Feb. 3.

Adult offerings will include Kent Knitters Jan. 26 and 31 and Feb. 2, 7, 9, 14, 16, 21, 23 and 28 from noon to 3 p.m.; gentle chair yoga Jan. 27 and Feb. 3, 10, 17 and 24 from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.; poetry and journaling Feb. 17 at 10 a.m. (registration required; $20); Chess Feb. 17 at 1 p.m.; “One-on-One Tech Advice” Feb. 3 from noon to 1:30 p.m.; “The Opioid Epidemic: A Look at Opioid Creation, Addiction, Treatment and Rehabilitation” by Deborah M. Bain Feb. 3 at 2:30 p.m. (registration required); “Poetry & Music Night” Feb. 3 from 7 to 9 p.m.; a henna workshop Feb. 10 from 4 to 5 p.m. ($20); and “Color Your World” Feb. 12 at 23 p.m. (at senior center).
