Gunn Memorial Library in Washington will present a program about the Wadsworth Atheneum Museum of Art's exhibit, "Coney Island: Visions of an American Dreamland, 1861-2008," April 23 at 6:30 p.m.

Erin Monroe, the assistant curator of American paintings and sculpture at the museum, will be the guest speaker.

"Coney Island" is the first major exhibition to use visual art as a lens to explore the lure that Coney Island exerted on American culture over a period of 150 years.

The exhibit will run through May 31 at the Wadsworth.
