The Roxbury Land Trust will present a program about porcupines April 3 at 4 p.m. at town hall on Route 67.

Gerri Griswold, a Connecticut DEEP licensed wildlife rehabilitator and director of administration and development at the White Memorial Conservation Center in Litchfield, will bring her nonreleasable Quill Pig for an hour-long program, as she addresses the natural history of one of Connecticut’s most fascinating species.

Large, solitary rodents that are elusive and mostly nocturnal, porcupines can be found perched in the top of a tree during the day.
