The Connecticut Museum of Mining and Mineral Science in Kent will offer a preview of its new Hall of Connecticut Geology exhibits June 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Highlights of the preview will include displays of what pre-Connecticut looked like, Ice Age Connecticut, and dinosaurs in Connecticut, including an animatronic coelophysis.

The preview will be held on the grounds of the Connecticut Antique Machinery Museum, 31 Kent-Cornwall Road (Route 7).

The event will co-inside with the 15th annual gem, jewelry and mineral show.
