The Connecticut Antique Machinery Association in Kent will hold its spring Power Up event May 5 from 10 a.m. to

4 p.m.

All buildings on the property of the association at ADDRESS will be open to the public, and machinery will be powered up and running.

Among the items to be exhibited will be a narrow gauge railroad steam engine and caboose, antique tractors and farming equipment, a blacksmith shop, a sawmill, stationary steam engines (flywheels up to 14 feet in diameter) and internal combustion engines of all sizes.

In addition, the Connecticut Museum of Mining and Minerals and Connecticut's first agricultural school will be represented.

Food will be available to purchase.

Admission will be $5 for teens and adults, $2 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children under 6 and CAMA members.

The CAMA is located at 31 Kent Cornwall Road (Route 7), just north of downtown Kent.
