The After School Arts Program in Washington will present shows with the world-renowned dance company Pilobolus Feb. 10-11 at 7 p.m.

The performances will be held at Shepaug Valley School on South Street.

Pilobolus grew from a Dartmouth College dance class in 1971.

Today, it is a major American arts organization that revolves around three nuclei of activity: Pilobolus Dance Theatre, the umbrella for a series of radically innovative and globally acclaimed concert dance companies; The Pilobolus Institute, offering unique educational programming for schools, colleges, and public arts organizations, as well as a series of classes and leadership workshops; and Pilobolus Creative Services, specializing in a variety of movement services for film, advertising, and publishing.

The shows will feature the participants from the ASAP's Inter-district Dance and Percussion Project, students from Regions 12, 14, 15 and Waterbury, as well as Region 12 and New Milford students who participated in the Inter-district Dance Project.

Tickets are $35 for general admission, $25 for students, $50 for reserved seating and $100 for patron seating.
