The Pilobolus dance troupe will join community members in a performance Friday, Feb. 20, at 7:30 p.m. at Sarah Noble Intermediate School in New Milford.
The performance will be part of the Washington-based After School Arts Program's interdistrict program.
This past fall, ASAP coordinated workshops with Pilobolus for both children and adults through the Inter-district Dance Project and the Community Dance Project.
Pilobolus has been performing around the world for more than 40 years.
The majority of the children who took part in the interdistrict dance project are in grades three to six at Sarah Noble.
Participants range from age 14 to adult and are residents of Washington, New Milford, Roxbury, Litchfield and Southbury.
They have been working in Pilobolus' signature style of dance and, through improvisation, have choreographed a show.
As part of the show, the Pilobolus dancers will perform an original duet.
Tickets are $10.
