The Woman’s Club of Greater New Milford is starting a new tradition in New Milford, a photography fundraiser.

The club is looking for local photographers to help build a calendar unique to the New Milford area.

The project will showcase local photography and highlight the beauty and uniqueness of the town.

Photography will by juried by an anonymous selection process by members of WCGNM.

The coordinator of the judging will abstain from the judging process to remain objective throughout the process.

Photographers can submit up to five images, typically one for each season, but can vary, and one for the cover.

A non-refundable entry fee of $5 per digital photo submitted is required.

Judging will take place by Nov. 10 and the winners will be notified by Nov. 15, if not earlier.

There will be a total of 10 full size (8x11) pages for use in the calendar.

The WCGNM reserves the right to utilize two pages highlighting their activities in the New Milford area.
