Pays tribute to those who helped in her time of need
To the Editor:
During my visit to the wonderful Village Fair Days on July 24, I tripped over the wire cover on the sidewalk.
I broke my nose and injured my knee.
I want to thank the EMTs and others who came to my rescue so quickly.
After they administered first aid, they remained with me until the Bridgewater ambulance arrived to transport me to New Mlford Hospital.
The EMTs aboard the ambulance were also very caring, as were the great staff in the emergency room.
I wish to thank all who cared for me after my fall because they made a very frightening experience almost tolerable.
May God bless all of you for the wonderful work you do for th ecommunity.
I also want to thank my friend, Fran Dempewolf, who remained with me during my entire ordeal.
Thank you, dear friend. I think you’re a keeper.
Much gratitude to all.
