Patricia Eleanor Lucas, of Southbury, died Jan. 6 in the company of family and friends.

She was born Sept. 14, 1925, in St. Joseph, Mo., to Eleanor Lewis and Howard Franklin Lucas. As a child she moved to New Rochelle, N.Y., where she graduated from Albert Leonard High School.

Ms. Lucas worked at PEN International writer's guild in New York City, and later at Continental Baking in the Wonder Bread plastic bag division. When Mobil bought the division, she continued her career with the company as an executive secretary. She retired in 1990 when the company moved to Texas.

Ms. Lucas is survived by her cousins, Jane L. McManus, of New Milford, and Diane Lewis, of Glastonbury, and her dear friends, Sheila and Stephen Yonych, of Woodbury.

Interment will be at Beechwood Cemetery in New Rochelle.

The Munson-Lovetere Funeral Home in Southbury was in charge of arrangements.
