Organizations to participate in Give Local
The Connecticut Community Foundation will host its fifth annual online community giving challenge, Give Local Greater Waterbury & Litchfield Hills, April 25 at 7 a.m. through April 26 at 7 p.m.
Numerous organizations from the greater New Milford area will participate.
Donors will be able to learn about area organizations and make online contributions at a single website — www.GiveLocalCCF.org — throughout the 36-hour challenge.
Greater New Milford area participants, as of press time, according to the Give Local website’s leadership, include the After School Arts Program, Animal Welfare Society, Inc., Harrybrooke Park (listed as Board of Managers for Harrybrooke Park), Bridgewater Land Trust, the Children’s Center of New Milford, Community Caring in Bridgewater, Community Culinary School of Northwestern Connecticut, Friends of the Roxbury Library, Inc., Gunn Historical Museum, Gunn Memorial Library, Housatonic Valley Association, Hunt Hill Farm Trust Inc., the Institute for American Studies, Loaves & Fishes Hospitality House, Merryall Center for the Arts (listed as Merryall Community Center), Merwinsville Hotel Restoration, New Milford Chore Services, New Milford Historical Society, New Milford Lions Club, New Milford River Trail Association, Inc., New Milford VNA & Hospice, Pratt Nature Center, Rebuilding Together of Litchfield County, Inc., Robotics And Beyond, Roxbury Land
