The Western Connecticut Area Agency on Aging is sponsoring an essay contest seeking the best interpretation of the Older Americans Month theme.

This year's theme is "Never Too Old To Play."

Essays are due April 23. Winners will be notified by May 4.

Residents of all ages are invited to submit essays on what this year's theme means to them.

The Connecticut Department of Social Services division will choose winners from each of the five regions, with one grand champion chosen from the regional winners.
