To the Editor:

The New Milford Lions' fifth annual Country Fair and Car Show will be returning Saturday, Sept. 21 to Harrybrooke Park.

New this year will be the Jersey Disc Devils, a Frisbee-catching dog show.

Come hear the great music of the Red Dirt Road Band, watch various demonstrations, check out the car show, visit the vendors, watch a garden tractor pull, look at some meticulously restored farm equipment, enjoy great food and more.

Please visit www.newmilfordlions.org or call Tammy Deak at 860-354-3645 for more information.

Unfortunately, Pumpkins in the Park will not be returning to the park this October.

The Board of Managers of Harrybrooke Park would like to take this time to thank Pam and Lou Hall for their hard work and dedication to this event for the last four years.

Many improvements to the park were made possible by the monies raised from this event, as well as it being a good time for many families to enjoy.

A new event is being planned to replace Pumpkins in the Park to help raise much-needed money for further improvements to the park, and to continue with a fun, family-orientated event for all to enjoy for Halloween.

Please watch for upcoming details.

Thank you.
