The "Tercentennial Celebration: En Plein Air Exhibit of Newtown and Sandy Hook," at River Glen Fine Arts Gallery , originally set to end Sept. 11, is such a success it's now scheduled to close Oct. 16.
The En Plein Air - French for "in open air" - exhibit features new pieces of art designed for the town's tercentennial celebration. All of the works were made outdoors.
